Six major radiation healthcare societies in the Philippines signed a landmark Joint Declaration on Patient Safety and Professional Ethics during PCMP 2025, pledging to uphold high standards of care, ethics, and collaboration in radiological practices. The signing followed a roundtable on enhancing interprofessional cooperation, marking a pivotal step toward unified, patient-centered radiological healthcare.

Organized by the Society of Medical Physicists in the Republic of the Philippines (SMPRP), the Philippine Conference on Medical Physics 2025 (PCMP 2025) was held last June 5–6, 2025 at the Diamond Hotel Manila, gathering professionals, academics, regulators, and industry leaders under the resonant theme: “Filipino Medical Physicists as Leaders in Enhancing Patient Care.”

The Philippine Conference on Medical Physics (PCMP) 2025, held June 5–6 at Diamond Hotel Manila, focuses on "Filipino Medical Physicists as Leaders in Enhancing Patient Care". Organized by SMPRP, it offers 7 CPD points and features Prof. Dr. Chai Hong Yeong's keynote, lectures on brachytherapy and AI, roundtable discussions, and technical workshops on various medical physics topics.
