The Philippine Conference on Medical Physics (PCMP) 2025, organized by the Society of Medical Physicists in the Republic of the Philippines (SMPRP), is just around the corner! Set to take place on June 5–6, 2025, at the Diamond Hotel Manila, this year's conference is themed "Filipino Medical Physicists as Leaders in Enhancing Patient Care." It will highlight the crucial role medical physicists play in healthcare innovation, radiation safety, and improving clinical outcomes across diagnostic imaging, radiation oncology, and nuclear medicine.
PCMP 2025 will gather medical physicists, healthcare providers, researchers, educators, and regulators to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration in advancing the field. The program features plenary talks, scientific sessions, technical presentations, and poster exhibits, focusing on emerging technologies, regulatory challenges, and evidence-based best practices. This event is an excellent platform for continuing professional development and promoting the highest standards of patient-centered care.
We are pleased to announce that attendance at PCMP 2025 is equivalent to seven (7) CPD points in coordination with UP-PGH, and the conference is open to medical physicists, academicians, physicians, and other allied health professionals.
Conference Highlights and Must See:
Keynote Address:Â A major highlight of the conference is the keynote address by Prof. Dr. Chai Hong Yeong, President of the Southeast Asia Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (SEAFOMP) and Chairperson of the Medical Physics World Board, International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP).
