The residents of Radiation Oncology Medical Physics (ROMP) Batch 2016 organized this scientific gathering with the theme “Pilipinas towards improving radiation use in
cancer detection and treatment” last May 3-4, 2019 in Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines.
The conference became the venue to discuss opportunities both in improving practices, enhancing education, and involvement of the radiation workers in research and development.
It was designed to lay out current and improvements in the practices, technologies, and education in the medical use of radiation in the country. Medical physicists, radiologic technologists, and radiology / radiotherapy nurses from the different part of the Philippines participated in this event.
