The SMPRP hosted the 15th SEACOMP last December 1-3, 2017. The Congress is to promoted scientific exchange and mutual support among the medical physics organizations in the ASEAN region. This served as a forum for medical physicists to learn and share knowledge and research outcomes in various areas and applications of medical physics; collaborate more effectively with other medical physics colleagues from the ASEAN region; discuss and exchange information on the latest technological advancements in the field of medical physics, health physics, biophysics and biomedical engineering; and foster camaraderie and strengthen partnerships among medical physicists in the region.
The Congress brought together technical experts, clinical medical physicists, health physicists, cyclotron physicists, biomedical engineers, and representatives from the industry and academic institutions.
