PCMP 2020: Filipino Medical Physicists: Moving Toward Global Recognition and Competitiveness

The Society of Medical Physics in the Republic of the Philippines (SMPRP) held its first Philippine Congress of Medical Physics with the theme "Filipino Medical Physicists: Moving Toward Global Recognition and Competitiveness" last January 30-31, 2020 at Heritage Hotel, Pasay City, Metro Manila.

The Congress aimed to gather nationwide participation of medical physicists across different subspecialties to continue raising competencies and promote radiaiton safety culture. PCMP also served as a venue to share innovations and developments in medical physics and updates in governmental regulations in the utilization of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.
